This week we put a link to an article on twitter (Follow us here: twitter.com/trigoldcrystal) about the opportunities in helping consumers with debt. A national Audit office report says that 270,000 had been seen by the Citizens advice service since April 2006 to September 2009. This has been backed by government spending of £130m which has gone to Citizens Advice and other charities to help with over in-debtedness. With so many people seeking advice and despite the huge amount of government spending there are still huge opportunities to help consumers with debt planning. TrigoldCrystal this week have signed another debt management company (details to follow) in addition to EuroDebt and Grant Thornton who are providing vital services to clients while allowing the intermediaries referring them to maintain the primary client relationship.

You can find the referral forms on Prospector by clicking ‘Manage Debt’ on the Prospector Client Screen*

In another very interesting development which will be of great interest to both technology companies and intermediaries alike is this piece of news. With Google’s prototype search facility for mortgages feeding leads directly to lenders, what then for the B2C market and more importantly mortgage intermediaries?
