CETA and Source added to websites

More quotes, more business - TrigoldCrystal adds B&C quotes to broker websites

The Source and CETA have joined up with TrigoldCrystal to add Buildings & Contents insurance sourcing plug-ins to TrigoldCrystal broker websites in addition to TrigoldCrystal’s own mortgage sourcing and Best Buys.

The new plug-ins are designed to sit inside a broker website so clients can research and apply for insurance via the site or get in touch with their advisor about B&C insurance. If they do apply straight through the site the broker receives commission making this a win-win option for clients and brokers alike. The Source and CETA plug-ins will be available as an option to advisors taking one of the TrigoldCrystal-designed advisor websites from the 6th April.

Launched at the beginning of Q4 2010 TrigoldCrystal’s website service provides off-the-shelf websites for firms without the technical knowhow to create a site themselves or the budget for an agency-designed site which can run to several thousands of pounds. By choosing from top-quality templates brokers can still have all the benefits of a bespoke including a choice of design but at a fraction of the cost. The venture into website design has proved very successful with TrigoldCrystal reporting just over 100 new sites being built since October alone.

Jon Whitmore, Joint CEO of TrigoldCrystal, commented: “It is clear advisors have a huge appetite to make the most of the internet and we are delighted that they are choosing our WebTools to assist with this. With the important addition of these impressive Home Insurance plug-ins to the TrigoldCrystal WebTools suite we have even more to offer our clients, many of whom welcome the idea of being able to provide the kind of services previously only offered by price comparison sites. This way they keep close to their clients, project a professional image through leading-edge technologies and generate enquiries from new prospects.”

Mick Cairns, Head of Sales, The Source, added: “It is true that we have seen the vast majority of consumers turn to the internet for product research and applications. We are as keen as many of TrigoldCrystal clients are, that we are there as part of that process. Consumers may want to research products online, they may also want to apply themselves, but we think it is vital that they do so in a broker-friendly way – either by using a broker website to apply which earns them commission, or by researching on their site prior to seeking advice.”

David Quick, Managing Director of CETA, also said: “CETA is root and branch in the intermediary community but the fact is that there is a lot of growth in online consumer business. We want to be there and we want our clients to be there. By teaming up with TrigoldCrystal and making sure our plug-in is available to the majority of the market through TrigoldCrystal websites, we are placing ourselves in the best position we can to take the next step of working with brokers to improve their online presence.”
