Stephen Douglas of Stephen J Douglas Financial Services will shortly be taking an Aston Martin, Porsche GT3, a Lamborghini Gallardo, and Ferrari 360 to their limits after being randomly selected from hundreds of respondents to win a track day after completing the TrigoldCrystal Broker Survey.
Earlier in the year TrigoldCrystal announced a new program of investment focussed on the needs of their clients. With some major enhancements already on the way, they initiated a broader survey of clients to help prioritise further developments.
Among the highlights of the survey, now being managed into the product development plans of TrigoldCrystal, was particular praise for Prospector’s ease-of-use of Prospector.
David Thompson, Sales and Marketing Director at TrigoldCrystal, commented: “Prospector has the support of over 70% of mortgage professionals and our survey helps us understand why. Feedback for the system was dominated with praise for its ease-of-use and sourcing capabilities. Early feedback from the survey and work with some of our larger network partners has already initiated projects to improve usability further; work which we will be revealing to the market very soon.”
On other feedback, David added: “We found it particularly interesting to see what products, in addition to Mortgages and Insurance, many advisors are offering as part of their service. Advisors are clearly focussing on helping the clients raise finance and manage retirement with a good proportion reporting their interest in Equity Release and arranging loans other than mortgages. We are happily helping brokers in this area with Equity Release sourcing on Prospector and a Secured and Unsecured Loan sourcing that is being enhanced in our next release.”
New technologies have also been reported as being of growing importance to brokers with over half of respondents confirming they would consider using technology such as tablet computers in the advice process. TrigoldCrystal’s Mobile Development team will undoubtedly be glad to hear that brokers are adopting these technologies.
David Thompson said: “Like many other professionals, brokers often need to be mobile when dealing with clients. My view is that technology needs to keep pace with the way people want to use it. With many brokers adopting mobile technologies and wanting to use it to help facilitate their business, we are taking the feedback on board and look forward to delivering more tools in this area soon.”
Amanda Waddington of Tenet Group, commented on the survey results: “We already work closely with TrigoldCrystal on product development but nothing compares to listening to what those people using the products every day think. The results have been interesting and we see that many of the suggestions are being incorporated into the next release of Prospector and we look forward to seeing how TrigoldCrystal responds to the feedback with further developments in 2012.”
